Introducing...

OUR SON!

It's a boy! Eek! And no, I will not be posting a picture of our child's genitalia on my blog, but rest assured, it was VERY clear. No ultrasound error in this case!

I had been kind of leaning girl prior to the ultrasound and was afraid I'd be disappointed if it was a boy, but actually I am THRILLED. And, we will be honoring my uncle with the middle name and I am really happy to be able to do that.

All went great at the ultrasound, he is measuring just slightly ahead of schedule and looks very healthy with a good strong heart, spine, and so forth.

HE! It's so crazy to say that HE is measuring on schedule!

Now to start the hunt for purple boy clothes!

When I first found out I was having a boy I was very disappointed, but I can honestly say that he's wonderful. I love having a little man.

Now, when do we get to talk about names?

  12. Wheeeeee! Congratulations!

It's because (I think of you as) you're such a girly girl. At least that is what my mom told me, when I had a boy. :)

My son's favorite color was purple for the longest time. Maybe still is. Hee! Hope you find cute purple baby things!

  28. I could not be more surprised (all of your signs pointed to girl since they were nearly identical to mine!), but congratulations nonetheless!! :)

  29. Aw, congratulations!! I'm not surprised you are excited...even when you kind of feel a certain way about having a boy or a girl, once you know for sure, you can't help but be excited. I actually was convinced I was having a boy (per my comment on your last post bc everyone thought I was carrying that way), and considered the baby a boy in my mind, so I was surprised I was having a girl, but instantly thrilled too! I can't wait to see what else you do for Piglet's nursery! Once you know for sure, it's so fun to plan everything! You have a son!! Yay!
