Two Years Old

Callum is TWO today.

My tiny newborn who nestled up the length of my forearm...



Is now the most amazing little toddler I've ever met in my life.



He's still an incredibly happy, mellow, cheerful kid. He talks all the time. He still sleeps great. He's incredibly observant. He has a little toddler sense of humor. He is obsessed with trucks and vehicles of all kinds. He is going through a Mommy phase. He eats pretty much exclusively carbs (but not vegetables). He runs and jumps constantly. He is affectionate and loves to give kisses and hugs. He says well over 100 words (a relatively balanced combination of English and German) and speaks in two- and three-word combos. He likes to be the center of attention, but he's also a well-behaved little kiddo and a surprisingly good listener. He's starting to show an interest in the potty, but hasn't started training yet. He's incredibly energetic. He notices everything and imitates it later, when we are least expecting it. He's obsessed with the swing and the slide at the park. He always wants to go bye-bye in the car. He's still at the top of the charts for size. He loves dogs and points out every "hund" he sees. He has become much more cuddly in his second year, though he still isn't a constant snuggler. He has some of the most expressive eyes I've ever seen.


 

 

 


The best word I can think of to describe his personality is "sparkly."
