As promised, photos from the weekend. First, what may possibly be my favourite photo ever taken of Torsten:
I only this weekend figured out how to use my camera in macro mode, so please excuse the extreme close-ups of food.
Torsten's dessert:
The wedding program:

You can see the full set here. But lastly, since I figured out the macro mode, I figured as a bonus I'd finally show you all a picture of my ring:

ReplyDeleteYour pictures were GREAT! What kind of camera do you have?
ReplyDeleteAlso, your ring is gorgeous.
Macro mode... I have one of those on my camera, and it's never occurred to me that I should use it. This sounds lame, but I'm honestly excited you reminded me of this. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good trip!
Pretty ring! Very, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I am in love with macro buttons. I use mine all the time, for no real reason other than that maybe I like that the symbol is a little flower.
Pretty ring!
Great photos! I love the ones you took with the macro, isn't it fun?!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera are you using?

ReplyDeleteStephanie and Sara--I have a Sony DSC-H5, which is a GREAT camera. Torsten gave it to me last Christmas and it is the best camera you can get without moving up to a DSLR. It has a 12x zoom (which in newer models has been upgraded to a 15x zoom) and the macro mode works great now that I've figured it out. The problem I was having before was that I was trying to use the zoom and the macro mode at the same time, and it turns out that that doesn't work. You have to not use the zoom and instead get the camera really close to the subject to get the macro mode to work.
ReplyDeleteThe ring is gorgeous! (Also, the dessert.)
