So you aren't left hanging...

Torsten's couch is fixed. It was a complicated, ridiculous process that only ended this past Sunday, involving a contractor who brought his wife along (isn't that weird? If you're going to fix someone's couch, shouldn't you think about the fact that since the couch is inoperational, it's less likely that there will be a comfortable seat for your wife to occupy while she waits?) and then turned out to be incompetent anyway. But the couch is now operational, and we actually sat on it and watched a movie on Sunday (Shrek, if you must know).

Just, you know. So you can stop lying awake at night wondering what ended up happening with the couch.

  1. I am so relieved! haha. Yes, that's totally weird about the tag-along-wife. People can be so bizarre sometimes. I haven't had a ton of time to look. Ideally, I'd like to get a convertible one that I can use as a guest bed for visitors (such as yourself when you come to NYC =D ) I'm doing well. I'm on some interesting cases at work...granted, they're no Libby trial. I miss my old friends, but I've met some awesome people here who have really helped me get to know the city. I also just moved into a new apartment, hence, the new couch. Oh, btw, have you received an invitation to judge at the MHC tourney in March? I might go. If you haven't received the invitation, let me know and I'll give you Carolyn's email address. Ciao babes!
