As I've gotten older I've found that my skin has gotten oilier, particularly in the T-Zone area, but on the whole it's generally good to me.

I use Philosophy's Purity face wash, followed by the When Hope is Not Enough anti-aging serum, Hope in a Tube eye & lip cream, and Hope in a Jar moisturizer--which is a little too heavy in the summer, but perfect for Fall & Winter (and a life saver now that I've started swimming again and the chlorine is wreaking havoc on my skin). That's my morning routine. I rarely wash my face at night, unless I did something uber-dramatic with my make-up and don't want to wake up looking like I'd been in a fist fight.

For me, I've discovered that the biggest issue in skin care isn't the face wash, but the make-up. Think about it.. the wash touches your face for a few minutes, but the make-up is there all day! That's why I started using the expensive stuff and my skin definitely thanks me for it. I came accross your skin regimen... Here's my comment...1. I have skin like yours...blessing - yes - curse - only in the skin care isle. 2. I have tried everything under the sun and almost all of them kept making me break out - and that was never my problem. I've always had decent, white milky skin - I just needed to keep it clean. So, about 8 months ago I didn't have ANY cleanser, I was over at my aunts and all she had was Oil of Olay bar soap. I used it - and I haven't stopped. The bar soap is amazing. I never thought I would do that because keeping my skin clean has always been an priority for me. But I really like it. Then I just use Jergens regular moisturizer after I wash my face - and walla - fantastic skin.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2119996845182958780.post-83836362591600604772008-09-23T09:01:00.000-06:002008-09-23T09:01:00.000-06:00Delurking because I love the skin talk!! I had tried Proactiv and it worked really well, but the downfall was that it bleached everything - towels, sheets, pyjamas, EVERYTHING. Then it also stopped working and the acne got even worse. Now I swear by the Acne Complex line from Murad. I get compliments about how glowing my skin is and it keeps the pimples at bay. If you are thinking about eye creams and stuff Murad also has an anti-aging acne line. Also - I use a mask once a week and swear by Clean & Clear oil absorbing sheets throughout the day :) Happy hunting!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2119996845182958780.post-68314160754646195962008-09-22T19:06:00.000-06:002008-09-22T19:06:00.000-06:00i have combination skin. i swear by philosophy pro...i have combination skin. i swear by philosophy products. the purity cleanser is awesome. it cleans and removes all make-up (even mascara/eyeliner) without drying me out. in the winter, i use hope in a jar (the dry sensitive formula) and in the spring and summer, i use neutrogena age shield face spf 70 as my daily moisturizer. my skin was acting all kinds of crazy until i started using the philosophy products.ms. mindlesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02472845738179189141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2119996845182958780.post-53983839786219421272008-09-22T06:56:00.000-06:002008-09-22T06:56:00.000-06:00If it ain't broke, don't fix it!You were doing fin...If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
You were doing fine without anything.Lyrichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01341146111158826868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2119996845182958780.post-78895431445471990232008-09-22T06:34:00.000-06:002008-09-22T06:34:00.000-06:00i have near perfect skin. don't do a thing to keep...i have near perfect skin. don't do a thing to keep it this way. some people are just born lucky (=Sidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16378637266179966793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2119996845182958780.post-51185643827420516572008-09-22T06:03:00.000-06:002008-09-22T06:03:00.000-06:00Super sensitive.
